Dr. Yakov Goldich
Dr. Yakov Goldich received his Medical Degree from the world renowned Hadassah Medical School at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel. He successfully completed his residency training in Ophthalmology at the Assaf Ha Rofeh Medical Center. In recognition of his academic and clinical achievements, he received the Outstanding Resident of the Year Award from the Israeli Ophthalmological Society. Subsequently, he was awarded a two-year fellowship for advanced surgical training in cornea, external eye diseases and refractive surgery at the Toronto Western Hospital, affiliated to University of Toronto, Canada
Dr. Goldich has extensive experience in the latest refractive surgery techniques and the most advanced surgical treatments for cataract. He is performing corneal surgeries including full thickness (PKP- Penetrating Keratoplasty) and advanced partial thickness corneal transplants (DMEK- Descemet Membrane Endothelial Keratoplasty; DSAEK- Descemet Stripping Automated Endothelial Keratoplasty; DALK- Deep Anterior Lamellar Keratoplasty). His other fields of interest are diagnosis and treatment of Keratoconus, surgical treatment of pterygium, diagnosis and treatment of ocular surface diseases and dry eyes
Dr. Goldich has a special interest in research, particularly in corneal disease and refractive surgery. He has published numerous articles in peer reviewed international medical journals and presented his works at major national and international conferences
